Well I thought I would be a clever guy and simply replace the appsok with the url-osk. One small probelm with that.....the OSK will launch, but after entering the text it attempts to bring up IE. Anybody have any other ideas?
I've noticed thatwhen using the OSk only the last character to be hit will be the only chracter entered in the text box. I have noticed this with the address bar in IE as well, but not in text boxes on forms. The alpine skin has two OSKs, one is labled URL and the other is simply OSK. Don't really know what any of that means, but just throwing it out there.
OSK + IE not inputting value
That OSK needs to be like the special URL OSK. Damn and this would be about perfect if the OSK would workyou can NOT enter an address using the Application OSK.. you need to use the specially made URL function for entering the web address. This is because of the way IE handles keyboard focus and replaces the whole text every knew keypress RR sends out. This is the ONLY reason why there's a SPECIFIC button on the BMV2 skin to enter a URL.
For those with map point you can update the map data using S&T:

So has anyone done anything cool with MapPoint 2006 yet?
Yes, I adapted this skin a while back. (it's a very small change in the skin file. you change the and to & (or could be the other way around) when giving the application location)
Do a search and you'll find it. I'm to lazy to look for it. :-)

I see where you updated it for S&T 2006, but not for MapPoint 2006 (just released) - or maybe I'm still not seeing it...
