there are a few settings that help on embedding of MM.. read the GPS faq to see about them..
The latest versions of RR seem to have problems (on slow systems) when embedding MapMonkey the first time MapMonkey is started after reboot/hibernate. If i exit to Main Menu and then reenter GPS, it re-embeds fine. Also if i close MapMonkey and restart it it is working. MonkeyTalk however is working, all the MM labels are updated...
I have seen this on both the car PC (EPIA M10000 with a slow hard disk) and (sometimes) on one of my home PCs (also not very fast)...
Is there something that can be done about this (except me changing the HD to a faster one...)

I have no problem embedding MM when for instance I launch it prior to RR, the problem is that MM takes too long to load the first time after a reboot/hibernate. I have fixed it by adding a Sleep 5000 in mdRoadRunner.bas, right after you launch MM. Then it works 100%.
It will probably work with less than 5000 ms, but i have yet to try out the optimal time.
If no one else has this problem i am quite happy to change this myself, so dont worry about it...
