This works regardless to the skin being used. In RR there is code that checks the GPS data (NMEA) every second. I have added code that makes use of this data to adjust the volume accordingly.

I'm being overlooked a lot lately. You and Chuck are so fast at debuging this mod I have nothing more to add except.....
THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING EFFORT.

The volume changes so smoothly, I'm just amazed. this is exactly as I envisioned it to be. Only thing is, I used the second version 2 (step increase after accelerated failed) and I have it set for 100% at 70MPH, but the best I got was 93% at 78MPH. (I was afraid to go much faster so close to home)

The mute switch idea kinda confuses me. I'm with Chuck, if it could be coded as click and hold to turn off and on, but maintain click mute functionality I think would be best. I know Guino coded in the click and hold earlier this year for some other buttons, lets see what he thinks about this idea.

I will be road tripping this weekend to Kansas City and will give the latest version a full workout. Thanks again Skippy76 for all your hard work on the coding side and you, too, Chuck, for jumping in here testing things. Guys like you are what make this forum an incredible resource.

I'm new here so this might be a really dumb question.. Anyways, is there a way to change the RRs GPS update interval? I'm using the "GPSSPD" but it responds a bit slow.

Btw. I was really amazed with the speedatt, great work fellows.

I'm not sure about the mute thing, but this is looking great. I would like some way to disable/enable it in the skin, maybe ATTENABLE, ATTDISABLE commands then we can do switch buttons to toggle it.

@Skippy76. Everything is spot on m8. My only suggestion is to allow the user input of the speed in addition to the vol%:

I'm not sure what you mean with that and how its to work.

I dont use this app I'm just watching it develop, at speed, and its looking good.

I have a 3 state mute that does all I need, its either mute-off, or mute-30%(1/3 of sound) or mute-full(no sound)

the mute-30% is wired to dome light so when I open a door (gas station etc) I dont shock ppl with the music or wake the neighbors at night if I needed to open the driveway gates(which I dont have Doh!)

If its muted to 30% and the volume is manually changed, the it just leaves it alone and does no more adjustment until the next time the door is opened.

O.K. ATT works great, but what should I be looking for with your change to the Gamma, i.e., what's it do, how, when, and to what? Does it also switch day/night on FD and MM ?

DiNasty: That's a good idea. I shall try to do that today.

Everyone: I took a look at the MUTE code, and whilst it's possible, the better option maybe to add a ATT Enable / Disable button.

Depending on work today I hope to have this done by lunch time EST. It will be BETA 5 available on my website.

i think that would be better anyway that way everyone could set it up the way thay want

Ok, I've made the changes as per DiNASTY. When I release BETA 5 you'll need to remove any speedatt setting from your RR.ini file as I've changed lable names etc. and then rerun RRConfig INI. Well, I guess you don't have to remove the old ones but at least it will keep things tidy for you.
