Thread: RR feature request (possibly?)

Hi Guino,

first of all thaks for all your work on RR. I recently downloaded RR and to my surprise I realised how long way it went trough during less then 6 month. After playing with it for few moments I have decided to switch my frontend (I was using Meedio till now) and I decided to port my Meedio skin along with all the phylosophy of Medio to RoadRunner. Hopefully this will take me off all the annoyances I had with Meedio. I have already started a skin progress report thread here: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/show...d=1#post669739
However, I have realised few things I would like to clarify with you.

I noticed that RR does not recognise .PNG format of pictures, what is quite a shame, since PNG pictures look far better then JPG when having very similar size. And file size does matter for those using CF cards and similar embedded staorage solutions , not to mention PNG supports transparency resulting in even smaller *_on.* files. Do you plan to add PNG support?

Another thing is kinda very kind kind request. One of the things I liked abaout Meedio was they have me audiable response to cursor movement - whenever I pressed arrow key on remote I heard noticable but not annoying "click" sound. It was a great feature adding more safety to my carputer use - I was not forced to watch the screen all the time to see if cursor really moved and what menu item I am currently on. Could RR have something like this (optionally) implemented as well?

Last very contrversary question: Do you plan to include support for playninf sound uppon a start - a start-up sound?
