    Nice slidehow software

I've been looking for a small slideshow app that did transitions (fade/wipe/swirl,etc) that I could control from within RR and I think I found it. It's called AblePhotoSlideShow from www.graphicregion.com

Although I was hoping for freeware it's only $19.95 and I was so impressed with the trial I gave my "donation" for a registered copy. It has a command line interface where you can pass it a folder name and while it's running keyboard controls offer pause, next, prev, faster, slower, etc. So it looks like it'd be great for integrating into RR. The author has been great about making changes I suggested.

Now I need to figure out how to integrate it! I'd like to have RR show me a listing of folders and then run the command line with that folder name in it. Anyone?

Interesting, but the damn thing has crashed on me like 6 times now and the transitions seem very choppy on my desktop (Dell XPS gen5). I donno how you would control this app other than with sendkeys, but I was unable to see if there were hotkeys because it keeps crashing. even in win95 compatibility.

Weird! I'm running on my desktop Win2k and my CarPC XPsp2 and it installed and runs smooth on both. However, although it takes about 10-20% cpu on my desktop (P4-2ghz), it takes 90-95% cpu on the CarPc (Epia 1ghz). This would make it tough to run under RR but I wonder why the % is so relatively high on the Epia? I'll check with the author.
