Just got back from long test drive and down loaded beta 10A on the road

Speed vol works good with linear – tried the others but at 70 mph the vol was all the way up and the slider made no change

As for the gamma the button goes thru all modes with no problems in gps mode

Now for transparencys with .swf files and windows 2000 – the background shows up now and it did not before like the picture of the clock in post #22 above.
Did the indicators make this happen?

    Else
    sRegKeyTZI = "Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Tim e Zones"
    End If

Is there a space there? Not sure if that is a typo in Time Zones or just the way it is being displayed in the post.

Oh and here also a space after the T:

    sCurZone = GetRegValueStr("System\CurrentControlSet\Control\T imeZoneInformation", "StandardName")

Just grasping at straws here :-)

Thanks Chuck. Need to look into the other GPS Vol changes, not sure if Tim's changes has effected this.

Not sure about the swf transparency problem! I'm using Windows Vista to compile on so it could have been something to do with that... (maybe / maybe not)...

Tim is looking at the source code and is going to make some small fixes. Once he's done I'll issue BETA 10b

Internal GAMMA based on set times is working flawlessly for me :-) I was changing skins before but I'm going to try this as my default now.

    Thanks for the hard work.

Gamma was working on my PC so I went to setup in the car. With the new RRCONFIG I get an error ONLY when trying to go into general settings. The following comes up COMCTL32.OCX is not registered or one of it's dependencies is missing.

All other setting options appear to be working fine.

    Thx,
    Chuck

Chuck: Yes, 9a was compiled in Vista.
Also I've checked the code and the spaces are not there... I think it's the way it is displayed here.

Re dependency, yes, the ocx needs to be registred or copied to the Road Runner directory. I just copied over the ocx from my desktop to my carpc. In the next BETA release I'll put it in the ZIP file.

    Hi,

I spend a lot of time for the indicators now, but it won´t work like I want. Something going wrong. Look at my skin.ini:

    /, I, x, y, w, h, Code;INDICATORCODES
    I05,25,465,115,50,"REPEAT:b"
    I06,424,534,93,50,"MASTERMUTE:b"
    I02,522,555,12,12,"GPSVOL:b"
    IMG,522,555,12,12,"LED.jpg",ON

The LED.jpg is in the skin folder. Have I change something in my Skin.jpg.

    The problem:

Press mute button -> mute is activated, no led
Press mute button -> mute is deactivated, led is on but when I get over another button -> no led
Press mute button -> same as second

    the config looks nice..

havent tried it in the car with gps yet but all is working on the home pc

now rr is using gps cords for a few things now would it be wise to have the option for rr to conect to a port to get its own data. cus i dont run Freedrive all the time.. but i run a gps port splitter..
or, the option for run gps in the background when RR is loading??

anyways so far so good.. i will play some more
