I'm testing use RR on my laptop now, I have notice something doesn't funtion as regular CD player unit. During play music when I press back button it play immediatly play previous song instead of go back to 00:00 at the same song.
So, if RR owner possible change the feature I would appriciate but I appreciate you anyway for created RR for us to use front end with carputer.

You'd have to change the skin file you're using to use prev2 instead of prev (sounds like the one you're using has the back button set as prev).

PREV2 command dosent work right. when you click it dosent restart the song at the zero, it just rewinds the song back about a second each click.

use this as the code for your button
"SEEKTO;00:00||SWITCHBUTTON;8>>PREV||SWITCHBUTTON; 8"
change the number 8 to the line number of your button. ie, if your button is on the 5th line down use 5. If you dont get the number correct the code will not work.

Seems like there's a bug with PREV2... I'll take a look at what's wrong.. it was meant to be: 1 Press restarts song, and 2 Presses slip tp previous song.

But while you are fixing it, is is possible to put a timer on it? Im not sure how it works now, but if its just like how my car radio cdplayer(and code i typed above) does it, my car radio will restart a song if i click back, but if i want to go to the next track i have to reclick faster like a double click, but i have to keep double clicking for each track back. Can you make it so it only rewinds the song if X amount of sec have played on the current track (like a low number) and all clicks after that will skip tracks back. To reduce the amount of spam clicking when you only want to skip tracks back.

Odd, I'd have wanted the opposite, which is what all my CD players seem to do.Originally Posted by liquid_smoke
Say it's within the first 10 seconds it'll go back to the previous song, otherwise it'll restart that song. So if you're 30 seconds in and hit it it restarts the song, hit it again it goes to previous song, again it goes to previous song, etc..
With your way it seems like to go back 3 songs you have to hit it once to go back one song.. wait X seconds and listen to 10 sec or whatever of that song then hit back agani... listen to 10 seconds of the next song and hit back again.. etc. to jump back a few. And if you hit it a sec too early you have to listen to the same 10 sconds of the song over and over... and it's harder to restart your current song, have to go back then forward after X seconds..
Just my opinion.
