    Set Port Used By RR?

Anyone know how to tell RR what serial port to use? This is the port RR uses for the speed indicator, etc. I have Iguidance successfully working on port 4, but that apparently conflicts with RR because the RR speed indicator doesn't work. I'd like to be able to tell RR to use port 5, but haven't found the way to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

ok, assumeing you did load RRConfig, you had to at least once.
Look under GPS, its a little confuseing if you dont know, but basicly set your GPS Mode to Mappoint (even though you are using IG) then set the GPS port to 5

Yes, I had loaded the configuration file dozens of times and read every line of rr.ini multiple times and didn't see anything related to the rr com port. I see from your post that it's the MapMonkey setting that's relevant. Thanks.

in RR config, what is your selection for GPS?
If you select Map Point and port number, the indicator will works.
If you select Any other than mappoint (External for IG), the indicator will NOT works.

Here is how to work around.
Open RR.ini and add the following line.
MappointPort = 5 (5 if GPS data is also available. Use Xport3 for that.)

Okay, all should work. But remember, when you run RR config again, and gps selection isn't mappoint, that mappointPort line will be erase.

Actually, Setting the port to Mappoint or to Menu will save that setting. Setting it to Map Monkey or to External will not save the setting. I"ll try to change that for next release.
