Thread: iguidance disappears in full screen - please help...

    julikop, read the instructions and ExecTBL.ini. You have to specify the path to iGuidance there.

    @julikop

    i think the problem you are having reguarding the fullscreen is because you are NOT using Skinbedder, the CFX skin is ment to use Skinbedder for IG by default.
    Originaly i thought when you said you were clicking "FullScreen", i thought you were clicking the fullscreen button that is apart of the IG interface, but when i loaded up the CFX skin i saw that the button you were clicking is apart of the CFX skin.
    When you click the Fullscreen button in CFX it loads another .skin file and attempts to embed Skinbedder, but since you arent using it, that is why IG disappears when you click it.
    You should check the CFX thread for how to setup correctly to use the skin, there is a bunch of commands in the exectbl.ini file with paths etc.

    I misunderstood your original problem, and created a solution to a different problem, so i wont bother posting the solution here as its better posted in its own thread as it has nothing to do with what you are trying to do.

    Ok I got it - I was reading the main ExecTBL.ini in the main RR folder... I tired searching for and downloading Skinbedder but I get a 404 Not Found - Is there a mirror to download this file - The link I was clicking on is in this thread: [Release] SKINbedder BETA 2.99999

    You don't have to use SkinBedder. Edit the path to your own iGuidance application.

    Thanks a lot man... it works perfectly now... I also solved the zoom problem, the file "external_gps.skin" was coded incorrectly:

    It was like this:
    B00,447,415,68,66,"iGuidance_ZoomIn",""
    B00,517,415,66,66,"iGuidance_ZoomIn",""

    Instead of:
    B00,447,415,68,66,"iGuidance_ZoomIn",""
    B00,517,415,66,66,"iGuidance_ZoomOut",""

    I fixed my problem as well by getting rid of skinbedder all together. Also by adding this: ||ACTIVATE;RoadRunner||ACTIVATE;iGuidance"
    to my GPS button. Fixed the problem with road runner falling behind any open windows and then actives IG for focus problem.

    so it looks like this:
    "LOAD;iGuidance.skin;RUN;C:\Program Files\iNav\iGuidance\iGuidance.exe;iGuidance||ACTIVATE;RoadRunner||ACTIVATE;iGuidance"

    Thanks everyone and b8bboi for the tip on getting rid of skinbedder.

    The only gripe I have now is getting RR to stop stealing open IE windows. I did notice that if i had a window open that has Iguidance in it that it will open that window instead of the path. Like if i have an IE window open with IGuidance it the title, it will open that instead of launching iguidance.
