    Question RR Questions

I'm coming up with a couple problems in RR that I can't quite figure out. If anyone can give me a hand with this that would be great.

1.) CD/Shuffle/Reply icons (I assume that's what these are) ALWAYS show up in music...

2.) How do you access media that's not in the directory you list in RR config? Like a CD/DVD w/ videos or mp3s?

3.) Portable FireFox 1.5 doesn't integrate properly. Is there a fix, or should I use previous version?

4.) Winamp Visualizations stay behind RR

5.) Radio Scan/Search doesn't seem to do anything...how are these supposed to work?

and what do the buttons that look like an inbox and inbox+ do as well as the magnifying glass. I assume the magnifying glass is a search, but it does nothing I can see except in radio.

    Thanks!

    1. look in the config you can change this to not shuffle or repeat.

    2. You need to direct the path to your drive in the skin sorry I am not at a windows machine or I would give you the correct path.

3.firefox 1.5 cannot be embedded right now if you still have the older version it will work fine otherwise you must use IE

4.Winamp visuals should just be a matter of giving the correct name in the config window. Check the general config in the rr config utility.

    5. I don't use radio so can't help ya there.

Thanks, but that didn't solve all of it:
1.) Default Repeat and Default Shuffle are OFF
2.) Not sure what you mean here, but I would like a path where stuff would be stored on my HDD normally, and then access DVD/CD when they are present.
    3.) Ok, thanks...
4.) Well, I've set it as MilkDrop plugin...running newest version of winamp.
    5.) ok...

    1. Post screen shots.

    2. Read the FAQ (#7)

    4. In Milk Drop's settings, under Windowed Settings, UNCHECK "Integrate with Winamp"

    5. SCAN = Scan mode, ie. scanning through stations one by one. Don't know about Search.

I've seen that 1. before. it looks like you either don't have winamp installed, or haven't selected a music directory in the config.

Can you susccessfully play music through RR?

Naw...I've got Winamp installed, just don't have any music in the directory selected...the PC I did that on is just a test system...my real system is sitting in my office and I was @ home. I can play music through RR though...I've tested that much.

Ok, going to recap here...thanks to everyone for the help so far.
1.) Still have the Icons showing up...is this something that needs fixed in the skin? Set as an indicator somehow...I need to find my skin editor and see what/if anything is set for these or not.
    2.) Works! Thanks b8bboi
    3.) Thanks DoubleC
4.) Nope, still opens behind RR, and when you hit the button again Winamp comes into the foreground.
    5.) Still don't know...
and I got the other icons figured out.... If anyone's got anymore ideas for winamp visualization I'll try them, and if anyone has used RR/Radiator please let me know how scan and surf work out for you.

    Again, Thanks!
