rr & winamp play same time/different videos?

O.K., I finally got rr to work in my install.... for some reason when I try to use the built in player it doesn't work... it just cycles through the video titles one after the other without displaying any video's, it just flashes that purple looking box where video would be.... but winamp works fine by itself... as does every other thing I play a video with, but not in rr through the included player for some reason...

what I did was get rr to use an external player (powerDVD) & now she works fine.... well almost anyway......

the problem I'm having is when I open rr & it also opens winamp...... winamp will start playing it's own video..... even if I stop winamp, then play a video in rr, winamp in the background will start to play another video in the background! sometimes it remains hidden & other times it actually mixes the audio from the rr video & the winamp video.... so at times I've actually got audio from both going at the same time....... other times the audio is just with rr video, & the only way I know winamp is playing is when I stop rr.... I then hear the video playing in winamp..... I have tried to hide winamp, but it still does the same......

I have stopped the video in winamp just to have it start up again shortly after...... I did search but found nothing like this mentioned anywhere..... I am using winamp 2.9 w/classic skin

I delayed posting this here untill I got to play with this to see if I notice any pattern, but I can't nail anything down..... it seems to happen more when I double click a song in the list view.... but I'm not to sure that's even related at this point...

anyone have any idea what's going on here?

I think part of the problem is that your forcing RR to play video on Winamp somehow. RR doesnt use winamp as the internal video player but Media Player Classic. They may be overlapping. Check into that.

I can't get it to work with the media player classic internal player, which is why I'm using cyberlink to play the video's, but how can this force winamp in any way to play videos?

Not really sure. I had the exact same problem but after just playing with the settings and settling on "use built-in player" and "auto-hide" it worked.
