The only reason I won't even try RR is because it doesn't use a database. I've got way too many songs to not have a database frontend.
I have been a pretty dedicated FP user but I'm now looking into other frontends.. When going to the front ends section of the forum I see that RR has more posts then any other frontend.. That leads me to believe that it has the most users..
I downloaded RR and played with it a little bit but haven't put it "in-car use"..
Are there any FP users who switched to RR and can tell me why? Or any hardcore RR users that can tell me the best part about RR?
Thanks!

AMD XP 2600+/512MB RAM/120GB hard drive
Opus 150W/DVD/GPS/7" Lilliput TS/802.11g/Bluetooth
Installed.
-GPSSecure- - GPS Tracking
-AltTabber2.2.2- - Handy touchscreen utility.
Well the thing that sucks about FP is when I add 1 song it has to rebuild the database which takes over 15 minutes..

The assumption is that you are playing/browsing songs much more often than you are adding/deleting. If your storage capacity is so small that you are actually need to add/delete songs all the time, then by the same token your DB rebuilds will not take a long time.Originally Posted by tbird2340

I find the argument you are saying kind of hard to believe.. I think a lot of people add songs quite often..
