    RR vs Frodo

I have been a pretty dedicated FP user but I'm now looking into other frontends.. When going to the front ends section of the forum I see that RR has more posts then any other frontend.. That leads me to believe that it has the most users..

I downloaded RR and played with it a little bit but haven't put it "in-car use"..

Are there any FP users who switched to RR and can tell me why? Or any hardcore RR users that can tell me the best part about RR?

    Thanks!

The only reason I won't even try RR is because it doesn't use a database. I've got way too many songs to not have a database frontend.

Well the thing that sucks about FP is when I add 1 song it has to rebuild the database which takes over 15 minutes..

The assumption is that you are playing/browsing songs much more often than you are adding/deleting. If your storage capacity is so small that you are actually need to add/delete songs all the time, then by the same token your DB rebuilds will not take a long time.

It has nothing to do with storage.. Say I get another CD and rip it to my HDD.. There goes a 30 minute rebuild.. Say I hear a song I like a week later and want to then listen to it in my ride.. Well there goes another 30 minute rebuild.

I find the argument you are saying kind of hard to believe.. I think a lot of people add songs quite often..
