New Picture Viewer written in VB6 Feedback Please?

Ok, so, I got frustrated trying to find an image viewer to suite my needs for car pc. Most are too complicated or awkward the way they work. So, I decided the only thing to do was to code my own. Now, let me preface all of this by saying - I took a class in VB 7 years ago and haven't done anything since. Over the past few days I've basically had to teach myself the language and remember as much as I could. That said, I am designing this thing with my own preferences in mind, however, I think many heads are better than one. So I ask you for some user feedback and suggestions that maybe I didn't think of. THis is no where near complete. I intend to make the slideshow interval user definable and a user definable initial directory for pics. I also intend to make it skinnable like RR but I have to learn all about that first. Anyway, suggestions are welcome, remember though, 3 days ago I was capable of a little more than "Hello World".

Very nice!!!!, simple, small, very functional. Maybe some one will want skinning, but I like it the way it is, kudos!!!

Thanks, I had forgotten how challenging it can be to trap user error. If you encounter any errors or anything let me know. One known bug is that If you cancel the opendialog you get the msgbox for invalid image type. This is being fixed.

Only thing I would say is that it has to be used in a folder that only has pics in it. it doesnt ignore any files, it tries to open .exe and everything else and gives you an error. Cant it be coded so it ignores all extensions except pic formats?

Check the released version. It's another post with just a release - I was going to add it to this one, but I couldn't seem to find this post. I think I didn't refresh the window and it had been open at home for a while. Anyway, thank you for the feedback but the released vers filters everything but JPg, GIF and BMP. Also it traps user error even if you managed to open a non-supported file.
