I have no problems with classic and using the CCCP codec pack or any other codec pack out there. I have used VLC and it's good as well.....
For those of you who have never heard of VLC Media Player Check It Out!!
I believe this would be far better embedded into RR than WMPC. In the years I've been using it, I've only come across one codec it didn't handle correctly. Is there a way to integrate this in instead of WMPC? Read about VLC. This is a project that thousands of students are constantly working on. It's simply the best, although not the best looking.... It gets the job done and is fully customizable!!

VLC is a good player, but I prefer MPC (without W)... So we're 1:1.![]()
Hmm... MPC isnt a microsoft product, its a GNU project by Gobest or sumthin like that....
What is it that you hate so much about it? it is surely also worked on by many ppl whch can probably fix any issues you have soon... go on the help menu, and into Home Page and maybe send them a note if you have issues?

My MPC has "jerky" playback and I have yet to resolve it. ANY other player has smooth playback but MPC. I prefer to use the MPC in RR because of the way it integrates with it, but I am at a total loss.
I've always used the K-Lite codec packs and been reasonably happy with them. Sure as heck beats the option of locating and installing everything manually, at least. Can anyone who has used both K-Lite and CCCP give a comparison of the two?

Thats what i used before and it didn't help RR playback any.Try the CCCP pack, its sweet,DVD as it should be.
RoadRunner's built in player give me problems, like it freezes on AVI videos and MPEG2 stuff. MPC works... but I dont like the way it embeds.
