alright this thread is dead. I cant figure out why its not working on my work pc, im guessing it has something to do with the Quadro drivers. But I have gotten it to work on three other comps in the last hour. So im not worried about my car pc atm. I used a different codec package though on the other three, instead of useing K lite I used Ace and it works flawlessly. In my opinion it was a little more in depth as far as its selection on drivers. Thank you for all of your help guys. Now that I see how things are supposed to run I can see the stupidity in my problem. I got way to in depth trying to fix a very very simple problem.

I had the exact same issue....outside of RR I could play all the videos in my MPclassic with the k-lite mega codec package. but then when I tried to play them in RR they just wouldn't show up in the playlist. What I did was, read your posts.....got nothing, then wondered if the reason they weren't playing was they were not on the extension list in RR. Well there are too many extensions to list and each one had its own little eccentricities so I just cleared that field in RR. Low and behold everything showed up and all of them play.

I had this problem too and have been messing with it the past couple of days. As soon as I clicked the video browser, RR crashed and burned. As soon as I uninstalled the K-lite Codec Pack, everything worked flawlessly. If other users are having the same issue, look at your codec pack first.

First of all. If you are using the built in player large video files over 100 mb will not play. Second, if you are using MPC. Make sure u dont use sytem default but use Video Overlay in the configuration and save. Also make sure you put in video extenstion that you want to use. Ex: *.avi, *.wmv, *.mp4, Etc...

I had same problem on my Epia MII. for some reason the video in RR was being sent to the composite tv out. Had to remove second display and disable RCA video on the motherboard to get it to work.
