    Different shortcuts on different screens

    Hey all,

is it possible to have different shortcuts for one key on different screens?

e.g. when i press "enter" on the audio player it toggles between play, pause and when i press "enter" in the gps skin it brings up the menu?

I don't know about toggling on the same screen (unless you use girder or something), but you can have different functions for different screens. I think the keytbl.ini file has the documentation for it...

associate your keys to new commands on keytbl.ini, then define your new commands on a per-screen basis in exectbl.ini..

    Keytbl.ini:

    37,"COMMAND1"

    ExecTBL.ini:

    "COMMAND1","PLAY",audio_player.skin
    "COMMAND1","STOP",menu.skin

You can specify commands to execute on ALL or on specified screens.. it's all the job of ExecTBL.INI:

    "COMMAND1","PLAY",menu.skin
    "COMMAND1","STOP",audio_player.skin
    "COMMAND1","MUTE"

Above, COMMAND1 will execute MUTE in any screen except for menu.skin and audio_player.skin -- where it has other functions. This will work as long as your "default" command is the last, I mean, is defined after (below) the lines that define it on a per-screen basis.
