Let me guess... that's a USB sound card you got ?
When I resume from hibernation the volume control no longer works. Its stuck at what ever volume I had it at last. The percentage values change in RR but the actual volume doesn't. To fix it, I have to close RR and open it again and all is back to normal. I'm using an Audigy 2 NX with the newest drivers and firmware. Anybody else have this problem?

yep. Is that normal for all usb devices? I know my gps used to have issues till I used Xport. The windows volume control works ok though so I thought it was something in the prog. I'll try frodo and see if I have the same issue.

That would be great. I'll test it for you but it's a pretty common sound card from what I've read on the forum. I find it hard to believe that I'm the only one with this issue. Is there anyone else out there that can verify that it is a software issue and not a motherboard issue before GUIDO wastes any time on this?
On another topic, thank you so much for the updates and neverending fixes to small bugs. It's very much appreciated. A lot of other front ends wouldn't give the time of day for issues like these. Thanks for your hard work.

Now that I have the volume in RR control wave, I realized that when I hiberbate with RR open the wave volume jumps to 100% on resume and RR still will not control it till I close it and reopen. On resume RR still indicates the volume prior to hibernation eventhough it is now at 100%. I hoped the new release 3-6-6 would fix it but it did not.

Try to go into/out of hibernation with other media player (winamp, wmp ... ) to see if the same problem.

I'm italian and sorry for my bad english.
I have the same problem when I resume hibernation.
I have the Audigy NX USB.
Another problem when resume hibernation is: the system check the Audigy after 10sec + or - ....if I have winamp played a songs, when resume hibernation there is an error that tell me no found audio card...so I click ok and restart winamp, and now is ok.
Whitj normal reboot there is all ok.
There is no fix for this. I just got rid of my nx because of the same problem. The problem is when you disconnect the power to the nx during hibernation. When you boot up the computer the nx doesn't resume right away. It takes a few seconds after winamp is already trying to use it. I was thinking about leaving power connected to the device, but I'm worry about power drain. Go with PCI if possible.
