I need some help with this thing.
Anyone out there that built one and can tell me how it works?
I built one but it only worked when I had one sensor connected. As soon as I connect another it stops sending data. So I built another one but it acts the same way. Do I have to send it a command to get a particular sensor or what? Anyone able to help?

    PM sent,and:

Use respectively the slots 1 -2 - 3 - and 4, and not connect random this multiple sensors...

    For sensors,use the DS18S20, and not DS18B20

I have a $13 pic programmer that I have used successfully in the past. The software is free.

And yet the pro's at forums.microchip.com , will charge around $150/hr to write you up a program. Not to scare anyone off, I'm relatively new at it, and its not so hard. Especially if you know C already, there are C compilers. Not to mention PICBASIC. Nuts and Volts Magazine!!! has a couple pojects each month to work with.
    It's been a while...
