    Another dual screen thread

After searching and reading it appears that some sort of dual screen (i.e. GPS on front and movies on the rear) can be implemented through a combination hardware/software solution. Is it possible to have a joystick/girder combination control the rear DVD/video playback (or even game controls)?

I don't want to install another touchscreen when ebay has tons of TFT LCDs with composite inputs for about half the cost of a VGA TS monitor. It would be great to plug in the old school joystick and have it double as a controller for games and to handle play/pause/FF/RW/volume playback of video.
