    RR and Phoco some issues

    Hello,

    I have some issues regarding to the phoco integration:

    1.- when I receive a Call the in call window, display unknow for a while and then changes to the correct name from the phonebook. But at the windows call (missed calls, received calls,...) the entries remain with the unknow name.

    2.- SMS. at the sms inbox, all the sms messages appears with the same name (at the sms.xml file also is saved with that same name), when I display the detail for every message the name is the same bad name, but the number is the correct one.

    3.- SMS. the sms outbox, send and archived are allways empty.

    4. the calls list (missed calls, incoming calls, dialed calls and all calls) seems that only have the entries of when the phone is connected to phoco, is it possible the pick these lists from the phone allways?

    5.- there is a phoco.ini file to translate some info, but didn't works, allways appears that names is english. what must I do to work correctly?

    thanks for your comments

    regards

    This is a PhoCo's problem, I've noticed that sometime, on incomig call, there is a delay in recognizing the caller's numbers.

    This is another PhoCo's problem. You can see it analyzing the PhoCo's log.

    This is normal, the sms outbox store the messages for a little time until they don't are effectively sent and the archived box store only the sms saved by the command "SAVE".

    RR do it, but only with the phones that support it.

    intPhoneBook=Rubrica interna
    phonePhoneBook=Rubrica telefono
    simPhoneBook=Rubrica SIM
    allCalls=Tutte le chiamate
    inCalls=Chiamate entranti
    outCalls=Chiamate uscenti
    missedCalls=Chiamate perse

    Hi kocke, I'm sorry for the short answers that I've give you in the previous post, but I was very busy.

    This happens because RR saves the incoming calls immediately. I have got some ideas on how to solve this issue, but this will be on the futures release.

    What I want to say is that for some strange reason, sometime, PhoCo gives back the list of SMS receipts with the same sender's name. I don't know if this is only in remote control or also in stand alone mode.
    If you try to connect to PhoCo with a telnet program, like "Hyper Terminal", and play with the remote commands, you can see what I mean to say.
    How you can see in this thread RR is not the only frontend that get this issue, however I think that I will be able to by-pass this problem in the futures release of RR.

    I think do you refer at the Archived Box and the Sent Box of your phone, but unfortunately PhoCo doesn't support this. It only can read the Incoming Box of the cell phone, so RR can store in these boxes only the messages managed by itself.

    This is a strange issue. I need to make some test to check it.

    This preview release of RR would have to solve some issues of the current phoco integration.
