Did anybody get any where with this error?

RR works fine on my desktop running XP. But as soon as I run it on my win2k laptop it generates errors straight away.

I run RR on Win2K indoors and have never had a crashing issue. SP4 as well.

so it's not W2k itself that is a problem.

I am upgrading my windows 2k laptop to winxp sp2 as we speak. I will post results.

I forgot to check the event viewer to check what type of error it was.

After an upgrade to windows XP RR now boots perfectly.

Got to be something wrong with win2k. I had Win2k with integrated SP4.

My XP is XP with integrated SP2.

I got the exact same error and crash. Running win2k sp4. As Roadrunner runs perfectly on my xp setup, I eventually copied the entire "known good setup" roadrunner folder to the win2k pc. Still got the exact same error.

the error log lists the line error and then claims to not be able to find winamp, even though winamp actually launched fine.

I formatted my win2k system (Thinkpad T22) and only installed roadrunner related components. This has to be a problem with Win2k.
