Thanks. But I thought the purpose of "CLOSE_PHOCO" was to close Phoco altogether?

okay, I tried forcefully killing PhoneCtl.NET.exe before executing RESUME_PHOCO but it still didn't work. Here's my simple BAT file.

Code:

"C:\Program Files\Road Runner\exec.exe" CLOSE_PHOCO
ping -n 10 127.0.0.1 > nul
taskkill.exe /F /IM PhoneCtl.NET.exe /T
ping -n 10 127.0.0.1 > nul
"C:\Program Files\Road Runner\exec.exe" RESUME_PHOCO

(The "ping" stuff is just a way to "sleep" for about 10 seconds each).

This is what I tried.

1. Hibernate and resume.
2. Run the BAT file above.
3. Get the "Failed to load resources" error message. Phoco is gone.
4. Close RR.
5. Open RR. Phoco is started along and this time, it works.

It looks like CLOSE_PHOCO doesn't totally detach Phoco from RR and shut it down.

I've tested this in my PC and it works good. The only change that I've made is to add a number in the "J" command (however it would have to be insignificant).
When I change the parameters, i.e. J01,316,41,159,364 I get that the contact's picture is dislayed with double height.

The CLOSE_PHOCO command, send a <Quit/> remote comand to PhoCo, then it waits a second and if PhoCo is still runnig, it tries to kill the process, however, I've noticed that for some strange reason sometimes PhoCo refuses to close it self.
When PhoCo enters in this stage, even a kill command sent by the windows task manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) is not able to terminate the program.
I think that this is also the reason for which a lot of peoples have issues with hibernate.
I've got some news from Zorro for a possible solution of the problem with the next PhoCo release.

I am a newbie here and having the same problem with hibernation. Tried creating the buttons in the phoco skin as per below but nothing happens when I click on the buttons. What could I have done wrong? Help please.

have that same issue. Those commands do nothing for me.

New PhoCo integration 06-04-06 BETA
based on the last RR release (06-03-06)

In this release:

* Added confirmation when delete SMS or contacts stored in the internal phonebook. (You must have the confirm.skin in your skin folder).
* Improved commands "CLOSE_PHOCO" and "RESUME_PHOCO".

This beta is out of date.
