Dialling digits in the callout skin after the call has been placed doesn't seem to work any more. I'll keep checking my skin work but can you take a look at it Robby?

    Thanks,

I'm using my 2.5 skin which i built based on your skin. If i press the sms button on the main phoco screen the first pic is what i get. Basically it just loads my sms inbox into the main phoco screen (phoco.skin). However, if i press the sms button from ANY other screen (calls for example) it loads the second picture. I want to load the second picture when i press "SMS" from any phoco screen. As you can see from the buttons on the first pic i cant do anything with the sms from that screen.
b8bboi has given an ecellente explanation, I can only add that I'll change the code in the next release in order to check if "sms.skin" exists and than switch to it for the SMS command

Send me your call_out.skin so I can test this feature and fix the issue.

    Hi Robby,

I made the same mods to the BMW_E36 skin and got the same result. I think that's your skin so just use this call_out.skin file instead of the original. I didn't pretty this one up, just used the dial jpg's so you have a keypad.

I went back and looked and this feature was put in the 10-31-05 RR version.

    Thanks for the help.

Sorry, Robby, it does still work. My bad.

There's a setting for the V500/V600 series of Motorola phones that Zorro has wrong in his default settings. When I updated to PhoCo 1.7 it reset it.

This is one area though that could be improved on almost all skins IMO. The CALL_OUT skin should also have a keypad on it.

    Sorry for the mistake.

    Don't worry Zogg
I've created a new call_out skin with the numeric keyboard, if you want to give it a try, you can download it here: CALL_IN_OUT_SKIN.rar

Thanks, Robby, I'll give it a test.

I'm sure it looks better than my quick hack test posted previously.

    Cheers,

is there a way that this works with a regular PCI modem or do you have to use this with Bluetooth?

PhoCo works with a serial connection to your cell phone. That serial connection can be either a real serial port (serial/usb cable to your phone), a Bluetooth serial connection, or I think an IR serial connection (never had a phone with IR).

You don't use a modem, although in Winders your phone should show up as a modem.
