Hi,
sorry, but how can I make a phoco log file?
Ti-ejtsch
I don't know if it's RR or PhoneCo but when I run it via the latest RR it only connects to my phone maybe 2 out of 10 times.. However, I can close out of RR and open up the PhoCo program and it will launch just fine..
Any ideas on things to check? Thanks

PhoCo makes it itself. Look under the install directory. I think the default is C:\Program Files\PhoneControl.net

I've got the same problem as tbird, it only connects maybe 25% of the time, but phoco works fine when loaded by itself. My callerID still gives the wrong name and number most of the time too.

i have joost invites, just hit me up for one.
I'm getting RR and Phoco to work properly with hibernation, etc. The problem is I have a remote start, and if my phone is out of the bluetooth range when RR and Phoco resume it obviously doesn't detect my phone. The only way I can get it to work is restart RR (which restarts Phoco).
Is there any way Phoco or RR can 'rescan' for a bluetooth connection without restarting the programs?
Okay, here goes. Also, what needs to be documented here is what version of Phoco are you running, PC specs, phone type and bluetooth drivers.
Using CFX, BVM2 and the Alpine (Green S) skins. Same testing procedure as outline in my previous posts.
The CFX skin will fault out several times before I get success. The BVM2 is a little better and the Alpine will connect 7 out of 10 times.
Now, if you get the popup window errors as I posted above just ignore them don't close the window or say okay. Just let it go to the background. The Phoco will still work in RR. Not the right solution but it will help in the troubleshooting. When you use phoco the first time for a call then after the call is terminated the recycle of phoco may fault out. So you might back to zero again. It doesn't always fault out just ignore the error popup screen.
What I have noticed when RR/phoco is initializing, The CPU is at 100% and until phoco is either activated or faults out and only then will the CPU load tasks drop in value.
I have taken out flash embedded objects on any main menu screen for now and have had better success. Trimming down the RR.
This is a timing issue when remote controlling phoco with RR, not sure whose at fault?
My specs.
2.4G P4
512meg ram
latest RR
Phoco 1.6B
Bluetooth drivers 5.0.1.801
Motorola V551J
On a side note:
My previous posts of the Motorola flip-phones was not entirely correct;
You have to setup the option of open to answer in the phone to allow it to answer incoming calls with the lid open and leave it open.
Another side note:
In RR config if you set the option to close embedded apps on exit
Then, it will recycle upon exit the active USB connections E.G. wireless 802.x, Serial port emulators, etc. This can cause phoco to not reload properly when under RR remotely, if you reload again under the same bootup time-span.
Still testing and have brought back my olé carp,c a 933 P3 with 256meg and phoco 1.5 with RR. To test/compare against. It ran for the last 4 or 5 months with the same type of USB devices on a CFX skin and I think the 01/06 RR update, will check that.
is it ok if RR start the audio-gateway only when there is a call? Because if i don't use this integration, the audio-gateway is always on, if i use this release the audio-gateway switch on only when there is a call.
Thanks

As the title said...
I found this little bug in the new updated version, 04-08
When a call is incoming RR change the mixer preset to phoco, but when the call hangs the previous preset does not resume...
Anyway,
Thankx for your big effort in development phoco x RR

PhoCo tries to reconnect the phone every 60 seconds, but by default it exits if the first attempt fails. You can change the option "ExitIfInitFails" to False with the Extended Configurator in order to solve this problem.Originally Posted by bruha
