    DiNasty.. need your help m8..

    Just doing the mixer in flash, got the sliders to move up and down fine.. just need to figure out how to get the variable Freq1 etc.. into flash, and write it back.. I think i'm ok in writing it back.. but unsure how to get it in the first place.. do I just place a label freq1 ?

    hope u can help..

    Also I have seen in the skin commands savetoini I think it is.. you found a way to 'readfromini' maybe the variable.. this is for my loud function.. works ok on a single skin, but seems to be loosing track when using multi-screens

    I'm pretty sure there's a command to set the EQ levels, but nothing like a label to read them. I could add it though.

    'readfromini' is not necessary since whatever you write with savetoini is automatically loaded into a variable inside RR. Reading variables from flash may be a bit tough though..

    well I've managed to load the variable into a label.. and then read the label so thats ok.. just need to suss out how to set the graphics.. failing that I will just not have to use flash.. shame as all the sliders are done. Is there any command where I can GetVol rather than SetVol ? this way I could read the current values in.

    yep sussed the variables now. .there working fine. Just need the graphics :-)

    Hey sorry,

    For the graphics, you can just use the same technique as the other sliders... Just create a slider and have it send fscommand("SETVOL;FREQ9;vollevel"); based on it's current position. As for reading in the initial eq levels... I was just setting that by reading the values in from a txt file because I was not aware that you could get that info from RR. Sounds like guino is planning a label for that though

    for the presets, you have a couple choices... You can put the sliders on separate timelines (frames 0 - 100) and have the preset buttons tell the sliders to gotoAndStop(frame) and SetVol;

    or the fancier way (not sure if this would work) is have the preset button set the _y of the individual sliders using the approach function.
