yes I've seen a program that do it but uses an extra com port (vith xport) and it is not skinnable.
I think that it's easyer to make a bit of code inside RR to make for examle a sync every day of date and time when com port is not in use by any navigation program.

Because windows time sync is random, just like my internet in the car.
So random versus random = being lucky when the both hit in the same time frame.

And i guess more people have a gps than a wifi connection in car.

i agree with NRGZ28, dont really see the point. Unless you need to sync your clock with the other members of your secret ninja stike team. How off is the time in your car? Ive never ever had issues with the clock in windows being off time by anything more than a minute or two. Plus there has to be at least 3 or 4 clocks in your car already, one of them surely is right.

I think that it is very simple to code for Guino and it is usefull if you don't have an internet connection and also the time signal is already inside gps signal and also free

I think this feature would be great. I never have internet in my car (or only for a few seconds when I turn it on before I leave my WLAN). Having the clock set exactly without user interaction would be awesome. Especially since my stock headunit was the only clock in my car and it no longer exists

I think Guino is doing a great job with this FE. Time is not importent, Life is.
You have a cell phone? There is a Clock. You have a wrist watch? there is your time. Give him a break please.
