I got the box of Mappoint 06 right here to install, just haven't had the chance to play with it, just don't know when I'll get to it.
Just got MapPoint 2006 but when I try and run it in RR, it brings up a dialog telling me the registry entries aren't corect and I need to re-run setup. RR then hangs with a switch to/retry dialog.
So much for backwards compatibility.
Progress: 80% - Permanent install left.

Well, I'm trying this on Vista (did I mention I like to be on the cutting edge?) and MPT 2004 has the same problem.

i took a 400 mile trip with mappoint 06. It works with rr just fine
