By no means do I want to critique... But isn't it a lot easier to just add the screens you need to RR.INI manually ? I mean, it's usually a one time thing...
Here is a great app that I created to select which screens to preload at RR startup.
Reqires RR ver5-2-06 or later.
Preload Screen Configurator v2.1
If you check it out, let me know if you had any probs, thanks.
v2.1 Features:
Auto checks if RR is in the default location.
Creates a backup of RR.ini before doing anything!!
Supports up to 100 screens, to choose from, depending on skin choosen.<Updated>
Pre-selects any already specified screens from the RR.INI file, if found in the selected skin
Only allows you to select up to the screen limit that is specified from RR.INI.
Change screen limit on the fly.*<Updated>
Doesn't add the "menu.skin" or "loader.skin" files.<Updated>
Deletes all created files during process before exiting.
Lots of error checking(I think I have covered all bases, I hope)
Display currently selected count<Updated>
Screen preveiw pic buttons, to help decide if that is the one you want in the list<Updated>
* Just click on the screen limit label to change
I hope this makes using another one of RR’s commands, just that more easier..

I agree. Yeah it might be something simple, but it will most likely help someone out that is new to RR.Originally Posted by Blue ZX3

Nice work. Specially with displaying the screen limit setting since I realize some people oversee that option and end up adding useless load time at startup preloading more screens than allowed (I've done that myself). If anything, it saved me the time to sit down and code it myself (which I intended to do at some point).

Nice one m8,
I think we sometimes overlook the fact that there are a lot of people out there who just don't have the requisite IT skills to do a lot of this stuff, and apps like this work well for them, and aid their understanding, so well done for coming up with this.
cheers

Nice work. I definitely prefer it over manually editing the RR.INI. Reduces the typo errors and so forth.
Well done... will have a play.
