Made this one for you..
where is all the documentation on the variables, im having a hard time twisting my head around it. I looked through skincommands, but im still not finding enough info on how to use them, when should i use them etc. Tried finding the release when they first came on line, cuz usually that post has more additional info on the new features than the skincommands.txt file.
guino, one quick question. I tried to use $musicpath$ in my audio_browser skin like this but it didn't work.
Did I go about it the wrong way?Code:/SD,AA,MODE,ICOW,ICOH,PATH SD,02,02,120,120,"$musicpath$"
(I also tried "=$musicpath$" but it didn't work either.)

umm.. right now, only label codes and command codes can interpret variables, but I could expand it to other things..
However, I do hope you realize that the line below should work and will "pull up" the path used on the previous screen's Folder list automatically:
On yet another note, even if you specify a real path on the audio_browser.skin, RR will still use the path specified in RRConfig as the audio_browser.skin is a special case and has hard coded path to be used (music path).

Not sure I follow it, but just tell me what exactly you need and I'll figure something out to make it work for youOriginally Posted by b8bboi
I just need for this code snippet to work.Originally Posted by guino
As for what I'm trying to do, I have 2 audio_browser skins. The default one is in listing mode just like that in your BMV2 skin. The other is in Album Art mode like in this screen shot. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d8...wser_album.jpg
For the 2nd one to work, I need to define the SD tag as mentioned above and I need to use the "root" music path as most people's albums start from the root (which is why I can't leave it blank). If "=$musicpath$" doesn't work, each user of my skin has to edit this manually since everyone has different music paths. That's what it is in a nutshell.
