    RR freezes after 5 minutes

I have been running RR for a few months now and all of the sudden it will lock up after 5 minutes of use. Dosent matter if its XM or Mp3. I loose total control of RR. I have to End the task and try again.. I havent changed anything hardware wise. Winamp still plays, XM still plays but i have no control over RR. This just started happening yesterday. I am running the april version of RR. Running Winamp 2.92

Is there a log file or anything i can look at?

do you have a vibrate kit for your hard drive? if not check it your hard drive problably receive enough shock to cause RR freezing, give a PC a break and try to put it somewhere tight, happened to me last week. noting to do

you can add debugmode=true to RR.INI and it will make a debug.txt log file. I'll be honest to say that if it freezes after a few minutes of use (without you changing any settings), it sounds more like some sort of hardware issue. Please check your CPU load also. In any case, I think you should make a backup of your files and install the latest version to see if the problem goes away. You have no idea of just how much difference there's inside RR from release to release every month, so you should at least try the new version.

Another thing you can do is, start disabling features, say, XM & GPS Port, etc.. see if it doesn't freeze anymore, if you can relate the issue to something specific it would be very helpful fixing a possible problem.

Thanks for the support. This weekend i was going to reinstall anyway. Also i might as well do the upgrade and also get winamp 2.95.
Is there any disadvantage to leaving debugmode=true all the time?
I would like the ability of constant monitoring.

It will slow RR a bit and if you are constantly changing screens/pressing buttons the debug.txt will grow pretty large.
