and the OSK works with the effects.

transitions should work on all screens, menus etc are all treated the same.
You dont have to specify each screen that you want transitions on. All you have to do is turn it on in RR.ini

The
/EFFECT
setting is only if you want to go to a per screen basis to force specific screens to allways have a certain transition or none. For example i would use it on the GPS screen since the fadeing is a tad bit slower when going to a screen with an embeded app.

The fade transition work in my other Menu screen. And just to add, the fade transition works when the OSK exits but not when it's been called up.

Not all of the Menu/OSK screens will work with transitions because of the way they're built into RR. Most of them should work, but this was not a design flaw, I did look at it and decided it was best not to do it because of design constraints.

I am fairly new the skinning and do all my work in the visual skin editor and I can't figure out how to use the text editor to add the /EFFECTXX tag to my skin I have tried a few different ways but it always uses the default.
