To see the transition effects on your current skin, simply add the following line to your RR.ini:
transition=0

0=Fade, 1-9=Different Slide/Clipping effects), 10=Random (between 0 and 9)

unfortunately these specific tags dont work with the skineditor, soon as you add them it deletes them before you can save. So you will have to use notepad to add the tag. But after that you cant open and save the skin with the skineditor cuz it will remove the tags again.
There is an objects.txt file in the skineditor that lets you add new objects but i havnt figured out how to add these new tags yet cuz they are different than other rr commands/tags etc.

I know this. My first post was worded poorly. How do I add them with a text editor was the question not will they work with skin editor.

I mean where in the skin file do they go?
How do I format them?
Does the number have to be two characters as the documentation implies "/EFFECTXX"?

you can add them anywhere you want, end of the file is good place, before the END tag though.

cant remember if you have to use both X's if its only single digit, just see which one works.

This is an example, this isnt the full .skin file but just the last few commands at the bottom of the file.

Thanks LS I tried that exact method but it still just faded in and out I have transition=0 in the rr.ini do I need to remove this??
