Do you have a com splitter to allow RR and MapMonkey access to the GPS data?
For some reason whenever I start Map Monkey, the GPSLAT and GPSLON skin labels stop updating. MM sees it's location though.
Closing MM doesn't start the skin labels updating again, I have to restart roadrunner. I've just checked some of the other GPS* labels, looks like none of them are updating once MM has been started.
Anyone else had this happen? Any ideas?

have a look for xport3. This creates two virtual com ports from one input source, and will allow two applications to receive the same data.

Yes, I'm spilitting the com port. I've got a few different GPS apps running in RR that read for a virtual com port, map monkey is the only one to cause problems.
RR's gpsport setting is different to MM's as well.
Yeah that's tonight's exercise - finding out if FD causes the GPS* labels to stop responding too... Also going to try to replicate the problem on some other systems to find out if it's just me or not![]()
