IG? - Save Current Location... (Hotkey or Option)?

    Guys -

I use IG so much from RR, and embedded - this is always one feature I wanted, could never find (Save Your Current Location as a Fav) and it's there - but from the menu bar??? Oddly I am either slow but don't see this from any of the GUI menu options - nor in the helpfile as a hotkey.

Does anyone happent to know if I am missing something here and could pop this up from RR by hacking to reassign a hotkey - or am possibly missing a route thru the IG gui to load this screen other than from the Menu Bar from IG.

    Thanks for any guidance.

if your in 2d mode you can do it with rightclick on the map.
unfortnately dosent work in 3d mode because of that retarded message about click and drag. On a side note, has anyone ever gotten the weather feature to actually work?

oh, also this can be automated with a small script.

    Save Current Position in iGuidance

You can also do this by just putting this code on any button, It will bring up the menu to save as a favorite, where you can edit the name ect..

    "SENDKEY;%{f}{l}"

You can also use this code on a button, to record your current track:

    "SENDKEY;%{f}{r}"

To play back a track, you can use this on a button:
    "SENDKEY;%{f}{p}"

These simply send the commands to the iGuidance Pulldown menu's, the "%f" is to send the ALT+F command, and the letter afterwords is the underlined letter in the iGuidance pulldown menu's.

Fire up iGuidance outside Roda Runner, and press ALT F to see what commands are available, unless you have it on in XP< they will not be visable if you click on the pulldown menu with your mouse.

There's also ALT+T and ALT+V for the tools and view menu's. in Iguidance 3.0 it is no longer possible to naviage the menu's with the keyboard, but a FEW of the menu's are available dirrectly through the pulldown menu's

For instance to get to "Display options" use:
    "SENDKEY;%{t}{d}"

    Hope this helps!
