Hi CdR,I'm not sure i understand your point.
The screen does come complete,in a proper housing and not in kit form (i wouldn't want 1 if it were a kit).

Your right, its not small print,Mp3Car makes no bones about their stance.
At £200 above the cost of the basic lilli and as its their product i just expected they would show a little more faith in it and give it the 12 month job the regular lilli gets.

I've no intention of taking it apart,of course this would void the warranty (which would be worth keeping if it were 12 months),my current lilli is still intact after 2 years.

sorry m8, yep your right. they are no longer selling it in kit form.. they were at least a couple of weeks ago when I checked. I can see your point now. I have found though in electronics if it lasts a couple of weeks then generally its going to be fine. As there arnt any moving parts in this monitor then theres not going to be any wear on anything that might fail... speaking of only 3months warranty I think I'm right in saying that the microsoft xbox360 does in the usa only carry a 3 month warranty as well (I did read it somewhere) and that does have moving parts ie. laser in the cdrom.. which in my eyes is a proper con from MS due to the first batch of 360's suffering from overheating problems due to the silly sods at the factory leaving the pull of strips from the heatsinks.. anyway I'm just waffling now.. lol

    Installing new touchscreen

Guino, you need to turn this into a before and after for the rest of us so we can follow how this goes for you. Some before, during and after photo's would be fantastic (Video would be even better).

Give us some idea of how the install was for you, packaging, modifications or anything else you think pertinent to the install process.

I really want 1 of these things,i was about to order but the price has stopped me in my tracks.

The basic $679.00 is bad enough but take into account $49.00 shipping to the UK and its a whopping $730.00 (£389.00) or so and if thats not bad enough UK customs are then likely to want £100 ($189) import duty.

    TOTAL PRICE = $919.00 (£490.00)
