    help with embedding software

trying to embedd software that i have found for vehicle maint. been trying to use winspector like it says in the FAQ section but i'm still confused. been searching and reading posts and still lost. the software i'm wanting to embedd is Automotive wolf looks really cool if i can get it to embedd. Looking to make an actual skin, but i can't get the buttons to link or operate those out of the software. If anyone could help it would be appreciated. i think this is something everyone has been looking for; as far as vehicle maint is concerned.

What info did you get with winspector spy ? any ?

Can you post a screenshot of the application ? As the FAQ says, not all programs can be embedded, but most should work.

by your screen shot, it doesn't seem like you highlighted the correct window (you highlighted something inside the window), but I would assume that if you use "Automotive Wolf" as the window title, it should work fine. It doesn't seem like the type of application that would not embed.

i just dragged the red crosshairs over to the word "Diagnose" where it put a square around it. So a dumb question now, where do i go from here. I'm assuming that i need to point a button on my skin to Diagnose but do i need to open the program first. example being when i click on the button to go to this skin it openes the program as well just in the background?

You need to drag the cross hair to the very top left where ti says "Automotive Wolf" then you will get the info from the window title.
