Yes, I would VERY much like to see this feature added! iGmon has this, but that was the only feature I used for iGmon, as it does not support much of anything else in iG3.0 unfortunately.
With iGmon, the screen would stay on iGuidance, until the turn was completed. I beleive ut used a pixel color comparison for the turn indicator in the top left to acheive this. I don't think this is possible in RR'd code, but I am not positive.
10 Seconds would seem to be a fair amount of time to display the screen, glance to see the turn ect. Could this not be easily made configurable with an INI setting?
One request is that you please make the skin that it will go to, configurable in the ini, & defaulting to the external_GPS screen if nothing else is defined. I request this, as when I was working with iGmon, I had a screen that was a FULL screen GPS skin, with a bar across the top that simply said "Approaching Turn" across the entire top of the screen. Pressing this bar would take me back to the previous screen if I NEEDED to get out of the screen for something at that very moment.
The reason for this is simple, when a turn is approaching, I don't need the standard GPS screen, with routing, zooming (Inactive anyway when approaching a turn) ect.
I know it seems like more and more stuff to put in the RR.ini, but thats the name of the game with CapRC's TOTAL customization. If the values are not in the ini, it can always just be set to use default values.
