1. Run the RR installer.
2. Go into RR folder and delete the file "ziplocator.dll"
3. DL a current copy of the rr binary and drop the roadrunner.exe in the folder.
4. DL the current config ver (see my sig)
5. Run the RRConfig.exe.

What does "ziplocator.dll" do? I dont have it in my current setup.

I am afraid of trying a different rrconfig.exe. I think that is what screwed up a good start I had going at one point. I am using one that is probably 3 months old... 254K file

Maybe you know.. IF I wanted to try testing say your new RRConfig.exe (or any other experiment) -- Can I just copy the entire folder (Program Files\Road Runner\ and if all goes haywire, just copy the backup back? Are there any other changes made to the system? IE; registry changes, etc?

I have been working on weird things today, like :

Audio_Playlist.skin ::

Vol- button loads the "MIXER" skin
Vol+ button loads GPS!

I have found several other skins that are incorrect (DFX2.5)
Makes me wonder.....

So is the installer and updater working now? I see above where some folks mention that it's not working but that was about a month ago...

So, do other people have this happening?

Go to MUSIC then PLAYLIST button, then VOL- ==> loads MIXER screen
VOL+ ==> loads GPS

I also have several other buttons that are wrong...

Just curious if anyone else's RR + DFX2.5 does this?

There were some probs with DFX2.5, and it has been mentioned in that thread. There is DFX 3.0 just around the corner...

Drop these in your dfx folder, should take care of those buttons

Oh,ok, sorry if I missed that post. Thanks for the fix file, I had already fixed the play list skin, but had'nt found the problems in the audio_search.skin.
Also there are 3 more errors in the Audio_search.skin (in my skin anyway):

At the end of installtion i get

Road runner has not been installed becaus eof the followin reason
Cinergy\Radio_IO.dll this files contains invalid data

I would uninstall RR, and delete your downloaded RR installer if thats what you used, then download another copy of RR. You might have a corrupt download...

okay i am having a real issue getting my music and videos to play, it opens win amp in a separate window but that wont play my mp3s or videos.
