    Thanks W3bMa5t3r,

    First blood to you !

I have included the installshield installation and a new page for the installshield updater, which will be released in v005. I agree we need to get this file included in the installshield and RR releases, so we need to tie this up with Guino to find out his release plans.

    cheers

The only reason I can think of is that chm's can be potentially dangerous files, so your PC might be blocking it. I will start to zip the files and see if that helps.

    Check out the first post.

Thanks for the hosting W3bMa5t3r, I have made those changes to the installer, and they are now included in v005, I have also zipped the file to see if that helps users to download.

    cheers

Added the v005 to the install package and updated the first post stating I've added your RR help file to the package. Just let me know when you release the new versions and I'll update the package. Cheers

THe newest version of RR is 09-07-06, I have this installed. I tried the updater and it shows that 09-05-06 is the newest. I know that 05 had some critical changes. Any chance of updating the installer and the updater..?
    thanks in advance

Unless you're talking about a beta version, the last version (just now to verify) I've downloaded shows 09-05-06 being the newest, which is what is packaged in the installer and what the updater is set to download/install. I've built the updater to install only the normal binary release (the one Guino stickys). Beta installs are on those who choose to use... ;-)

Under "Installation," the section that should be titled "Upgrading Road Runner" is "untitled."

Also, when you upgrade RoadRunner, it's only necessary to replace rr.exe and RRConfig.exe (updating Skin Commands.txt and readme.txt is not necessary but advisable). Overwriting the entire RR directory will result in loss of all changes and customizations (most of which being in the ExecTBL.ini).

    Thanks deus ex machina,

some of the info in this file has been copied from stickies, and other posts. That is why I need the edit checks from you guys in the community. I am suffering from "can't see the wood for the trees" syndrome, so top marks for spotting those mistakes, they have now both been included for the next release.

    cheers
