The "TUNE" command open the "NUMOSK.SKIN", you need to have this in your skin folder.

Since I left my OEM Head Unit connected to the original antenna, I've installed a triplex (gps, radio, TV) made by Calearo (even that is amplified) but often the signal quality sucks (gps gets satellites quite well, at least...

).

I'll try to connect the Cinergy to the original antenna.

Has somebody tried the AF function in the car?
Before to continue to coding the other functions, i need to know if it works without issues.

Hi robby,
I've used the AF function but I don't know if that works fine..I mean how can I test It??
The new radio_IO.dll seems to work better than the radio.dll but I don't see the station frequency automatic change...should I see it?

let me know what kind of test I have to do.

I think that you are little confused

, the radio.dll is for D-Link USB Radio.
The new radio_IO.dll provided with this beta release replaces the old subfolder Cinergy and its contents.

The test you would have to do, is to tune a radio station that transmits RDS data, then drive your car and check if the frequency switches to an alternative frequency when the reception quality is low.
It must work like a common car radio with RDS AF function enabled.

No, that means that I've written a subroutine that allows to do calls to a DLL with function pointers declared with cdecl attribute (like the Terratec's API) instead of stdcall attribute from VB6.
I don't understand why you need to write a driver for the Cinergy. All you need, to take it working in your programs, is the drive provided with the radio card and the Terratec's API-DLL.

No, the Terratec's API doesn't allow raw access to RDS data, but it provides parsed data like AF array, PTY code, Radiotext, Station name etc...

Yes all (RDS)radios can do that if it is supported by the driver...
To show the Frontends (which currently displays 99,1Mhz) that it (the radiodriver) has changed to 102,1 Mhz (because the reception is better there for that station) it fires an AFNewFreq(102,1Mhz) Event ! Frontends should now display new frequency

The AF searching was started because the Reception level felled under 35% of maximum (not volts or something !!! it differs from radio to radio!!!) which was the Level set by the Frontend (and the user) with Property AFLevel.
