How do I get the Car2PC adapter to work in RR?

excellent. I was wondering what happened. I gave him my info for Jbors to ship me some update but hadn't received anything yet. He didn't really even say what the update was. Good to know its still in the works.

So far, my adapter works fine for what it designed for. However, after a few hibernation, car2PC.exe fail to send/receive command from the HU. To work around this problem, I just have to restart car2pc.exe. I'm planning to have hibernate and resume even to terminate and restart the program, but I'm too lazy to try ATM.

I have a 2006 mazdaspeed 6 and the Car2PC unit on the way. I hope that the new plugin is done by the time i intall my carpc. ANy update on this

I thought this was already recompiled -- there's a Car2PC.exe and Car2PCOLD.exe in RR's binary package, the old one is for the old adapter, the new one is supposed to be for the new one.

I guess everything is not working right. I dont have it yet but other mazda owners say that there are features that arent working. I think displaying text doesn't work and something about track time.

Anyone else with the actual product please chime in.

The track time on it doesnt work correctly, it causes the text to blink.

slvrsol got it to work (without delays) in Hondas by commenting out all of the code that actually sends data back to the HU. For some reason it still updates the track number on the HU, but not the disk (playlist) number. I've tried modifying the code to get it to update both, but every time I make any changes that actually send data to the HU the display goes all funky.
