    GPS changing ports

Not sure if this is the best place for this but...

Almost everytime I reboot my CarPC my GPS changes its port, and I have to go in RR config and reconfigure it. Is there any way to lock it to a specific port?

I tried searching and couldnt find anything on this?

I have seven USB devices and they do not change addresses, unless I have swapped cables/devices around. The first thing I can think of is one of your USB devices is not installed correctly, that would cause this problem. Try setting one USB device at a time, shutdown and reboot a few times, see if it is pulling the same address/IRQ in device manager everytime (that is if you are running a windows platform). Do this for the remaining devices, then if all is well, run RR, etc.

Good suggestions, also you may just need an updated driver... I recall some very old USB-Serial adapter doing that to me too, but after downloading the latest driver everything worked fine.

I will try looking for an updated driver, I have it plugged into USB hub, would this matter?

It changes anywhere from port 3-7.

Make sure your Hub is a powered Hub type! Again mark each port as to what device is connected to it..
