RR not updating the list of Albums/Artist List

    RR latest build BMV2 skin.
    Winamp 5.24

I've deleted some music files from my library and corrected some artist/album ID3 tags in various music files so that all my music files share the same ID3 v1 and v2 tags.

However, when browsing music thru RR, it still displays artists/albums that I've deleted/modified.

I've searched for nearly 3 hours now with no clear understanding why RR won't update the file list or how to update it.

    Can someone please help?

    Thanks.

    Nevermind.

Never thought to use "refresh list" before making the post. Anycase, here's what I've found.

if you're talking about the Winamp Library though (--Artist/Albums/Genre-- entries), then you just need to have winamp re-scan the files, which can be done automatically and on the background as pre-set in the library settings in winamp.

Yeah, I did that on winamp and do have the setting enabled so I don't have to rescan my entire library just so it can reflect changes.

I've been doing supplemental searches so that RR can "refresh" the library upon startup, but found this a few threads down.

Seems to be working as far as I can tell.

Still learning about skinning and coding the skins.

Ok, I just deleted a bunch of songs, moved some folders around, etc.. In Winamp I rebuilt the library but when I go into RR it still shows songs / folders that have been deleted. What did I do wrong here?

    Thanks!

I'm getting a slightly different update issue. the playlist in audio_player does not auto increment any more. tracks keep playing one after the other but the track indicator stays in the same place meaning that if i hit pause it goes back and plays what ever track was high lighted last. leaving audio_player and then going back to it causes the high light to move to the current playing track though.
(i'm running winamp 2.95 and the latest rr revision) any one else getting this? initially i thought it was jus the car pc playing up or some thing else running (i have a few extra bits and pieces running that get the steering wheel controls to work) but its happening on a fresh built up laptop with out all the extras as well. tested with alpine and bmv skins.

check the "list follows song" option in RRConfig.
