    yea i am trying out what you said, it does have tiny footprint. I havent gotten any malicous people recently, only that 1 dude who is still banned just in case.
    I dont like the GUI though it is ugly and counter intuitive; not user friendly like cerebeus. even the usermanager on cerebeus is good. but i will save that BPFTP Server does have a decent user manager compared to other FTP servers out there like filezilla to name one

    Has anyone tested out the new version I posted above to see if it still throws a virus alert? let me know so I can fix it if not. Thanks

    i dont use crappy AVG -ha-ha-ha!!!

    I didn't test it when it was giving alerts but I tested it right now with Symantec corporate version and it shows clean over here.

    AVG was the only one that was throwing alerts as far as I know... thanks though

    I tried it last night. Latest version works fine -- no AVG problems.

    Just to mention that I cannot install with NOD32 running. Even when its disabled there is still a problem......cant be completely off...

    OK on a complete fresh XP install with no AV...

    OK, turned off Advanced Heursitics in Nod 32 and installed OK...
