    What is the best way to have RR send the GPS coordinates (or street name and number even better) every xxxx seconds to the clipboard? any ideas..

    ok i can use an autoit script to get it from there.. how do you copy them to a file?

    EDIT: Now that i think of it i prefer the clipboard copying.. easier to manipulate...any ideas?

    I've asked the question a couple times here and here, but never got a real answer. This thread is where Chuck unveiled his Song Reminder RRCode (check out his skin to review the latest code he's using. Chuck may know a way, but I was never able to get it done.

    maybe send the coords to autoit as a parameter and have autoit use it as a var, then do with it what you please.

    edit:

    or, you can save the coords as vars inside of RR and use autoIT to read the vars from RR, that should cut the overhead down as i think RR will only process the vars value when it is requested (maybe wrong on that)
    If you download the RR SDK there are autoIT examples of how to read and send data to RR from AutoIT
    01101100 01101001 01110001 01110101 01101001 01100100 01011111 01110011

    ok that is the same conclusion i have reached.. i didn't know that there were examples.. i will download it ASAP.. here is what i did with autoit..just started autoit yesterday

    $rr = ObjCreate("RoadRunner.SDK")
    $MY = $rr.GetInfo("GPSLAT||GPSLON")

    now i was trying tocreate a text box or paste the result....but i am stuck here..how do you copy paste the result in autoit??

    What are you trying to do with them. And what are you using?
    I am trying to have that info copied into the clipboard say once every 5 seconds... I am using another software which will read the text (text to speach) copied into the clipboard as soon as it is copied..
    then using a dedicated old soundcard i will have this played continuesly
    the speaker out of the card will be conected to a mobile's phone handsfree...
    so when i forget where i parked my car i just call it have the phone connected to a relay, turn on the pc call it again, it autoanswers, and I listen to the street name or the coordinates!!!!!

    thats it

    Code:
    This will send lat/lon to a file then open the file and copy to clip bd in the background all in RR code

    copy NOTEPAD.EXE to C:\Program Files\Road Runner folder

    ExecTBL.ini file entry
    "COPYLATLON","SETVARBYCODE;LAT;GPSLAT||SETVARBYCODE;LON;GPSLON||SETVAR;LATLON;=$LAT$ - $LON$||WRITETOFILE;C:\Program Files\Road Runner\Latlon.txt;$LATLON$||WAIT;1||RUNQ;C:\Program Files\Road Runner\NOTEPAD.EXE|Latlon.txt||ACTIVATE;Latlon||SENDKEY;^a^c||SENDKEY;%fx"

    the text in the file
    0.000000 - 0.000000

    Thanks chuck..
    I did a cool EXE with autoit, check it out..
    it will put GPSLAT & GPSLON from RR to the clipboard in the form of
    0.0000000.000000

    (no space between them)
    maybe someone with more advanced knowledge in autoit can help
    here is the code i used:

    $rr = ObjCreate("RoadRunner.SDK")
    $MY2 = $rr.Getinfo("GPSLON||GPSLAT")
    ClipPut ($MY2)

    i made another one which copies GPSLAT to the clipboard...(my text to speach software reads it) it waits for 6 seconds and copies the GPSLON (my text to speach software reads that also) so I am done i think

    hope someone will find it usefull
