How can i get my V3i connected? I'm using the USB cable connected to my PC and the FreeFone app is still saying: Trying to connect, please wait.
The phone work nice with the MOtorola Phone Tools, i mean, I think isn't a drivers problem, or it is?
    Thanks

I tried it last night with my Treo 650 and I couldn't even get the Treo to connect to the pc, forget getting FreeFone started (that starts and runs just fine but can't connect). I'm going to try with my Sony 637 tonight since I know that will connect to the machine and should work with FreeFone (I installed the Belkin bluetooth stack instead of the MS one). Once I get that figured out then I'll try it out with the Treo instead.

    Hmm...

After reading up on this thread, I began to wonder more about the Lexus description. Is it possible that the Lexus is using 1 BT connection to create the headphone profile. Using that profile (as a single button press) couldn't one turn on/off voice commands? That's what most bt headsets do... Thus it should be possible to just use 1 BT connection to place/answer calls, display incoming caller info, etc (as this is all possible with present BT devices).

    Or am I missing something?

I tried it with my Sony T637 and it worked like a charm last night. I just need to figure out how to get the serial port working for the Treo 650. I searched a bunch last night but didn't try all that hard because I was tired. I'll try again later tonight and hopefully get the treo working.

tried with cdr's new freedom ultimate skin, and same thing happened. any ideas anyone?

    Another Razr V3 issue.....

Ok, I guess time to chime in and say I am also using a Razr V3. Motorola phone tools works fine with the phone, and it is listed in device manager as a modem, using Com4. I set the com port in the FF ini file to com 4, and just get the searching...please wait. Is there some other driver, or piece of the puzzle I am missing here? (Using a USB cable to connect to the phone BTW) In the car, I have a parrot handsfree tied into the audio system, with a mic above the visor. I am looking more to just be able to see who's calling on the computer screen, rather than use audio through the PC.

MGD, what was the procedure you used to get your Razr to work properly?

I got the Treo 650 working last night. I can dial and receive calls when I set the phone in dial-up networking (then the computer can connect to the phone as a serial port). However, the battery indicator, signal strength and other features aren't working yet. I'll spend some more time on it tonight but at least I could call my house from the computer.

The Razr V3 works fine with FreePhone. I use the USB Cable to connect the phone. It shows up as Motorola USB Modem. In Settings.ini set the com port to the same number as the modem is then you should have communication with freePhone. You don't have to do anything on the razr for it to work. The drawback is, you can answer the phone only when the flip is open. Don't know why, have'nt figured that one out yet. In order to get sound on the PC, you need to pair it over bluetooth with audio gateway and use the pc as headset.
