Thread: FreeFone 1.3 Full integration with Roadrunner

Yeah, I'm hoping my leftover issues clear up on the 20th.

In all seriousness, the issues like dialed numbers and missed calls not showing is probably just that my phone doesn't respond to those AT commands. I actually don't really care, the fact that incoming caller ID's show up and I can answer, dial and hang up through it is awesome.

As far as the bluetooth connection I'm not really sure; something seems to have flaked out, so I re-set up the bluetooth connection on the PC and phone. So far it's back working great again. Hopefully it doesn't flake out again.

two minor problems:
1.) the slider to adjust song progress is not there/does not work
2.) cant read sim contacts (dont care about those anyways...who does?)

Anyone know if there is a way to embed the phone status flash onto pages that are not running the freefone app?

how can i get this nice little app to autostart i tried adding this to the EcexTbl.ini in the roadrunner folder:

"ONSKINSTART","RUN;$skinpath\FreeFone.exe |-minimized"
not working ...(also tried without minimizing it...)

any ideas?

Would this allow windows mobile devices to use this program.

then try running freefone outside of RR, make sure you have set the correct com port in the ini.

if that all works then follow any instructions you find in the DigitalFX regarding setting up freefone.


Note as far as I am aware you can't run the sound through the PC speakers, now have the PC as the mic.

I just got a blackberry phone 8xxx something model... i've done exactly what you pointed out here.. but FF doesn't find my phone.... i can hear sounds of my phone from my umpc... Thanks to "handsfree service" ... That's about only thing i have accomplished...

ok.. i made a step further.. now ff connects my phone... only thing that works now is it tells me when there's an incoming call... that's about it... none of the buttons in ff works to receive an incoming call...... i have to open the flip of my phone to receive a call....

I can dial and make a call as well.. so, upto this point, two things of ff can be used with my phone... it tells me there's an incoming call and i can make a call.. that's about it..

Now would be the time to make a log of the things that work and trying to using all the functions in the software... chances are your phone doesn't support most of those functions.
