Does it work purely by bluetooth or does it fit into a cradle which allows it to make a physical connection?
OK, thanks for letting me know. Are there any phones, similar to the Razr, that will work? I like the form factor of the razr, but want it to work with the carputer.
I am getting a new phone in a month or so, so I'd like to choose the right one.
Someone mentioned earlier that the Razr works fine in a Lexus OEM handsfree setup. How do they do it?
Does it work purely by bluetooth or does it fit into a cradle which allows it to make a physical connection?
He claimed he just sat in his father-in-law's Lexus and used it without any wires.
Read post #36...this is where it's mentioned
Does it work with other skins such as Zots.day
Still having problems setting up my Nokia N70 and my bluetooth device. Can any body help please
Thank you so much for all your work
Man this software is hard to find with no links
Haven't been here in a while. You are correct. No wires were involved. There are buttons on the steering wheel to configure the phone to the car. If I remember correctly, I put the Razr in "find me" mode, hit the button on the steering wheel and viola, I was able to make calls. The other person's voice was heard (loud and clear) through the car's speakers. They could hear me through the integrated microphone (not exactly sure where it was located).
Have to buy a BT mobile to try this!
It sound like pretty much the same thing as taking a bluetooth headset opening it up and wiring it to your system speakers.
Was there any way to dial a number or access the adress book without touching the phone? Because this is why Phoco (piece of crap you have to pay for !!!) or RRmobile or FreeFone are so hard (virtually impossible) to set up with a Razr because the Razr has only one BT connection instad of the two needed for voice AND data transfer.
