Currently not possible with RR, but i would love to see this also.
I think RR really needs some kind of database support for audio, would make a lot of things like this easy to do.
Do anyone uses these in winamp or itunes??? Is it possible to implement SmartViews in Road Runner??.
See, I have a "SmartView" (Smart playlist) of pop music from 2000 to 2005, and now and then I add a new 2002 pop song to my library. A smartview playlist will recognize the new song immediately, however a regular playlist wont. I have to add the song to the playlist. This would not be trouble if I had just one smartview playlist, however I use them a lot in winamp. I have like 20 smart views and another 20 regular playlists and it is a torture to add songs to each playlist.
How can I make smartviews to work in Road Runner???
Thanks in advance!

liquid thanks for your answer. I found an alternative solution. I downloaded two programs: AllwaySync and Itunes Export.
Because I have all my music well organized in iTunes, what I do is the following: First I synchronize my music folders (home cpu with carputer), then I use Itunes Export to export all playlists at once to roadrunner's playlist folder. I have to do it every time I add a song or two to my library. It takes me about 5 or 10 minutes but that is the best way I've found to keep my carputer with new songs.
