Volume & Pan Resetting to 0 and other slowness

When I previously had RR installed on my carputer, everything ran fine. However, I recently had to move everything on to a new hard drive and everything is acting weird now. I am running TinyXP (the 112mb dist), and for some reason, whenever a new song plays, the volume resets to zero. Then, when the computer is restarted, the pan resets to all left. On top of that, when clicking the music button, it lags for 1-2 seconds, (the spinning logo freezes) then loads music, then after that, scroling through songs is as it should be, but then once i go back to the main menu and hit music again, it slows down again. Any ideas?

Did you re-install anything ? the symptons you described are typical of bad settings (mixer issues) or bad version of flash/winamp (slowness). Check that you have master volume mapped to MASTER on RRConfig, make sure you have the latest RR, a full version of Winamp (not a lite version) and flash propperly installed.

hmm it could be either one of those. I think this weekend I am going to end up pulling the entire thing out and reinstalling windows and the lot. Oh well...
